What was different? I had no cloud in my pocket on Wednesday morning. Everything looked good until I got to San Francisco when the remaining drive time just stayed at 16 minutes for the next 15 minutes. My car's navigation system was off by 100% predicting the drive time. So the next morning I used my car's built in navigation system to drive to NGP Capital's World of Connections conference in San Francisco. That same evening, my Pixel 2 phone crashed: 'Load error - slot unbootable'. Google Maps predicted the ETA within 5 minutes of the actual drive time. I drove through Northern California for four and a half hours last week Tuesday.
